Rev. Dr. Christina Tillotson, Southern California, Distance Education Dean,
I am very honored to have been a Religious Science Practitioner since 1987. I completed four years of Ministerial Education at the Holmes Institute and my Doctorate in Divinity during the summer of 2003. My ministrird are as the Distance Eduction Dean for United Centers for Spiritual Living and for our accredited Master's program in consciousness studies that educates our Ministers, the Holmes Institute. I also serve very part-time at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living in Encinitas, CA.
I began on a personal growth path in 1980 and I found Religious Science while I was living in Napa, CA in 1982. The minute I walked into the church I knew I was home. Now as a minister, I can be home full time!!
With my wonderful husband, John, whom I met at the United Church of Religious Science summer retreat at Asilomar in 1986, I moved from California to the Washington, DC area in 1993 because of his work for DARPA, the Defense Department organization that created the Internet over 40 years ago, Oct 18, 1969 to be exact. There, I was an Internet trainer and consultant and became very excited about the possibilities of presenting Science of Mind over the Internet. (Before that, I had spent many years in teaching, school administration, business training, and managing 13 states as a training manager for an educational software company.) I was the only Practitioner listed in Science of Mind Magazine in Virginia and had people all over the East and Midwest calling and begging for classes. I pushed for and created these accredited on-line classes out of that need and created and taught the first on-line Foundations of Science of Mind class in May of 1998.
We moved back home to California in July, 1997. In October, John was diagnosed with cancer. He left the planet 33 days later, November 9, 1997. I decided to become a Minister that night. That experience was a test his and my faith. I miss him a lot, and I know he is having a great time in his next experience. I am very grateful to Religious Science for getting me through that trying time and for my wonderful life now. I know that John is THRILLED that the technology about which he was so passionate has now allowed students in 19 countries and 42 states to take certificated Science of Mind classes. At present, there are 40 Practitoners who have been licensed from the on-line classes in 5 countries including Egypt, Spain, and Switzerland.
Rev. Gloria Diamond Conley, Northern Caliornia, Foundations Class Expert
Rev. Gloria Diamond Conley is a Special Focus minister and mentor minister who has taught classes online through United Centers for Spiritual Living for the past 9 years. She has also served as Education Director of Global Heart Spiritual Center in Santa Rosa, CA and as Education Director of New Perspectives in Sebastopol, CA. She and Rev. Nicole Merges are also the founders of Aha!Education, a program that offers non-certificated classes online. Besides her work as a minister, she has a teaching credential with the State of California, valid for life.
She believes that online classes can be fun and inspiring for everyone. Although she has taught in many different kinds of educational venues, she finds the opportunity to teach online to be the most enjoyable work she has ever done! She teaches with the awareness that some of her students will become study group leaders, licensed practitioners and ministers and she is delighted to mentor them on their own perfect path.
Rev. Dr. Cay Thompson, Florida, Knew Ernest Holmes
Meeting Dr. Holmes in person, when he visited the Miami Church of Religious Science in 1958, was one the highlights of my early days in this teaching. I immediately felt at home with the Science of Mind (SOM) philosophy and began classes that same year at the Miami Church.
I have been a SOM Practitioner for 47 years, a Religious Science Minister for 21 years, and an United Church of Religious Science (dba United Centers for Spiritual Living) Ecclesiastical Representative (Eastern/Mid-Western US ) from 1999 to 2002. After serving as Staff Minister at the Center For Spiritual Living in Orlando , Florida , I became, in 1991 the founding/Senior Minister of the Golden Triangle Center For Spiritual Living in Eustis , Florida , where I presently reside.
Teaching online classes with Dr. Christina is an awesome experience and one which I continue to enjoy!
Our spiritual center sponsers the first Holmes Institute campus in the Eastern US since the mid nineties.
One of my greatest blessings is to have a loving husband, partner, and friend of 57 years with whom to share life's experiences. My husband, Don, has been a SOM Minister since 1963 and an inspirational teacher to me! We have 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, 3 granddaughters (ages--24, 25, and 26), 1 grandson (15 years) and 1 great granddaughter (3 years). They all live in Florida (for which we are very grateful). The last, and very important member of the family, is Simon--a furry, loving, playful 12 year old Himalayan cat!
My passion is to continue awakening to the Eternal Presence of my True Self and to practice SOM Principles in every day life experiences.

Dr. Ernest Holmes'intention was to teach people how they could create and enjoy a better and more productive life through knowing and living the principles of Science of Mind. He believed SOM is a philosophy, a faith and a way of life that people could live every day and incorporate into whatever belief system they currently follow.
The power of intention is a critical factor in my life. Simply by intending and allowing Spirit to move through my life brings such wonderful gifts and great joy. I have been involved in SOM for over 17 years now and I just love having the opportunity to follow the principles and continue to connect with like-minded people.
I have been teaching online for the past 6 years and love every moment of this wonderful opportunity that I have been given. I am presently the Director of two SOM study groups (East LaHave and Halifax, Nova Scotia), a member of the Practitioner Core for the Center of Peace in Philadelphia, PA. (the church that I am affiliated with) and a member of Aha Education which will begin teaching online non-certificated spiritual enrichment courses and workshop to our global communities.
My passion and love is singing jazz and gospel music and I am presently performing in both genres. On January 10th I won the Africian Nova Scotia Music Award for "Rising Star" for 2009. I was also invited to perform on the Discover Stage for new artists at the East Coast Music Awards on March 7th. I continue to perform with the Nova Gospel Ensemble and the Pat Watson Jazz Sextet.
I love bird watching, kayaking, reading, quiet time for reflection and meditation, walking along the ocean or in the woods, theatre and life. My husband, David, has been very supportive, loving and encouraging as I travel my path in life.

Greetings Beautiful Spirits! I am delighted to be here with you exploring the powerful teachings of the Science of Mind and Spirit, founded by Ernest Holmes. As the founding minister of a new Center for Spiritual Living, I am filled with a sense of fulfillment and great expectancy as my ministry unfolds. What a life-changing, life-affirming journey this is for me, and would not have been possible if the SOM certificated classes were not offered online. With deep gratitude to Rev Dr Christina Tillotson, I was able to graduate from Professional Practitioner training in her pioneering online pilot class many years ago! I've been hooked on eLearning and online education since then. With radical faith in a divine prompting, in 2006 I moved to Boulder, Colorado, and have never been happier. It is the home of my new ministry, the Boulder Center for Spiritual Living, a long-awaited SOM Center in this Community. I have been a practicing Religious Scientist for 15+ years, and I can see that all the work I have done to "change my thinking" has indeed changed my life. Rev. Nicole Merges, Utah, Technical Wizard
I am a licensed minister with United Centers for Spiritual Living since 2009 and have a Masters degree in Consciousness Studies from Holmes Institute. I am also a trained chaplain, completing 4 units of clinical pastoral education at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. I have been a member of the Salt Lake Center for Spiritual Living since 2001 and teaching credentialed Science of Mind classes since 2004.
Since 2008, I have been a member of the UCSL online teaching team, teaching certificated coursework globally. My love for online education has also inspired co-creating a special focus ministry called Aha!Education with Rev. Gloria Diamond Conley. This ministry teaches online non-certificated spiritual enrichment classes and shares spiritual living principles with a global audience. In 2008, I was a guest lecturer and workshop facilitator at the Science of Mind Winter Conference in Izhevsk, Russia. I look forward to more travel to international centers in the near future.
I live a balanced life of work, play and family. I have resided in Utah since 1995 and have created a home in the canyons. I can often be found outdoors and enjoying nature in my spare time. I live with her husband, Peter of 11 years, my daughter, Allison, and two cats and a dog.
I live life with joy and love, dedicated to practicing and living spiritual principles and sharing the Science of Mind philosophy with the world.

Dra. Rebeka es también ciudadana canadiense. La enseñanza

Rev. Dr. Rebeka Piña is the Founding Director of Ciencia de la Mente, CSL México. A native of Mexico, Rev. Dr. Rebeka is also a citizen of Canada. Teaching has been a great part of her life and hers is a teaching ministry. She has a degree in education from UAA, with graduate studies in Canada, and is a graduate of the Holmes Institute, Huntington Beach Campus (1997) where she received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity in 2007, She is a member of UCSL Global Services Core and serves AGNT and INTA Advisors Committee.
