The 30 weeks of Professional Practitioner Studies On-Line Year II begins on Wednesday, Sept. 19 and Year I began on Thursday, September 20, 2012.

2012-2013 Academic Year Information:

Please CAREFULLY read and follow all of the directions below before registering.

Year Two with Rev. Dr. Christina Tillotson and Pat Watson, RScP begins on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2011 7:30 - 10:30 PM Eastern Time, 4:30 - 7:30 PM Pacific time for 30 weeks and ending with a retreat at the Questhaven Retreat Center in the the San Diego area the first weekend of June, 2012. Licensing can take place at Asilomar in August, or possibly at other places if necessary.

If you took your basic classes at a church or center, you will need a Minister's recommendation to enroll in Professional Practitioner Studies on-line. Please do not pay for Practitioner Studies until you have a recommendation e-mailed to christina@enhancing.com from the Minister at the church or center where you took your basic classes.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you belong to a CSL affiliated center or live closer than 30 miles to a center, you need to have your Minister's e-mailed permission to enroll in an on-line class and your Minister's e-mailed recommendation to enroll in Professional Practitioner Studies. PLEASE do not enroll or pay your deposit until you have that permission and recommendation. If you are not a member of a center and live 30 miles away from a church or further, you do not need a Minister's permission. These classes are created for you.

Professional Practitioner Studies, Year One

Living the Principles

The 30 weeks are divided into 3 10-week terms.

Tuition, Expenses, and Technology for Year One

Tuition for the full year-long, 90 hour course is $750. Each ten week term is $250. A payment of $280 (which includes the one-time technology fee) for Term I holds your space. The remainder can be paid throughout the year.

Tuition includes workbooks and audio files avialble on-line after registration for the class as well as registration at Centers for Spritual Living.

Extra expenses: Students will attend one in-person retreat during Practitioner Studies, Year I at the Questhaven Retreat Center in San Marcos, CA the first weekend of June at the Questhaven retreat center in North San Diego County. (Students are invited to stay later through the Prac II graduation on June 3.)The rooms range from $35-$50 per night per person. The retreat fee, which includes all meals but not housing or transportation, is $140.

Practitioner One is conducted in REAL TIME in our new web based TalkFusion video technology augmented by a chat room. Any high-speed Internet connection, from low-end DSL through cable, will work, although you will have the best expereince with the highest speed you can afford. The agendas, MP3 files, visual aids, and information for each class will be posted on the class page to which students will have access. To participate in the class, you will need a computer with a webcam and access to a phone for conferencing for the whole 3 hours of class. Skype audio can be used for one or two students who live out of the United States if necessary.

The first retreat will be at the Questhaven Retreat Center in San Marcos, CA for graduation and mock panels at Seaside Church in Encinitas, CA the first weekend of June, 2012. The rooms range from $35-$50 per night per person. The retreat fee, which includes all meals but not housing or transportation, is $140.

The second retreat is for licensing panels and will part of the United Centers for Spiritual Living Asilomar conference in Pacific Grove, CA on Wednesday, the first week August at Asilomar. Students are encouraged to attend the conference for the whole week but are not required to do so. In some cases, students who cannot attend Asilomar and can arrange for panels elsewhere can request exemption from Asilomar.

4. After you are registered, you will receive access to the elctronic workbook, the same one that is used in classes in CSL centers.. (To keep from having to raise tuition, the workbooks will be delivered electronically.)

How Practitioner Studies Years Ones and Two are conducted:

1. Professional Practitoner Studies are conducted in REAL TIME in our new web based TalkFusion video and technology complimented by phone conferncing and as well as chat room in our e-learning software. The workbooks, agendas, MP3 files, visual aids, and information for each class will be posted on the class page to which students will have access in our e-learning software.

To participate in the class, you will need a computer with a webcam and access to a telephone, or if out of the US, Skype audio.

3. After you are registered, you will receive access to electronic versions of the workbook and the visualizations for the class that are used in classes in Religious Science Centers.

Registration for Professional Practitioner Studies will begin the week of June 11, 2012.

A list of the pre-requisite classes you have taken and when and where you took them. Your last class must have been within the past five years to count and you must have a total of 156 hours of class credit to register for Prac I. If you are registering for Prac II, you must have completed Prac I within the past 3 years.

A short paragraph about why you want to take Professional Studies on-line.
