The 30 weeks of Professional Practitioner Studies On-Line Year II began on Thursday, Sept. 22 and Year I began on Wednesday, September 21, 2011.

  • Year II begins on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, 4:30 - 7:30 PM Pacific Time, 7:30- 9:30 PM Eastern Time.
  • Year One begins Wednesday, Sept. 21 , 4:30 - 7:30 PM Pacific Time, 7:30 - 9:30 PM Eastern Time.

2011-2012 Academic Year Information:

Please CAREFULLY read and follow all of the directions below before registering.

Year One with Rev. Dr. Christina Tillotson begins on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2011 7:30 - 10:30 PM Eastern Time, 4:30 - 7:30 PM Pacific time for 30 weeks and ending with a retreat at the Questhaven Retreat Center in the the San Diego area Friday evening, June 1- Sunday afternoon, June 3, 2011.

If you took your basic classes at a church or center, you will need a Minister's recommendation to enroll in Professional Practitioner Studies on-line. Please do not pay for Practitioner Studies until you have a recommendation e-mailed to christina@enhancing.com from the Minister at the church or center where you took your basic classes.

Year Two with Rev. Dr. Christina Tillotson and a team teacher begins on Thursday, Sept. 22 7:30 - 10:30 PM Eastern Time, 4:30 - 7:30 PM Pacific time for 30 weeks ending with a retreat at the Questhaven Retreat Center in the the San Diego area Saturday evening, June 2 - Monday afternon around 2:30 PM , June 4, 2011. Licensing panels will tentatively take place at the UCSL Asilomar retreat on Wednesday, August 8, 2011. If you have taken Prac I on-line, you may be asked to participate in an entrance call by phone. If you have taken Prac I at a church or center, you must have your Minister's recommendation to take Prac II on-line as well as an entrance conference call with the instructors.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you belong to a UCRS/UCSL affiliated church or center or live closer than 30 miles to a center, you need to have your Minister's e-mailed permission to enroll in an on-line class and your Minister's e-mailed recommendation to enroll in Professional Practitioner Studies. PLEASE do not enroll or pay your deposit until you have that permission and recommendation. If you are not a member of a church and live 30 miles away from a church or further, you do not need a Minister's permission. These classes are created for you.

Professional Practitioner Studies, Year One

Living the Principles

The 30 weeks are divided into 3 10-week terms.

Tuition, Expenses, and Technology for Year One

Tuition for the full year-long, 90 hour course is $750. Each ten week term is $250. A payment of $275 (which includes the one-time technology fee) for Term I holds your space. The remainder can be paid throughout the year.

Tuition includes workbooks and audio files avialble on-line after registration for the class as well as registration at United Centers for Spritual Living.

Extra expenses: Students will attend one in-person retreat during Practitioner Studies, Year I at the Questhaven Retreat Center in San Marcos, CA June 1-3 at the Questhaven retreat center in North San Diego County. (Students are invited to stay later through the Prac II graduation on June 3.)The rooms range from $35-$50 per night per person. The retreat fee, which includes all meals but not housing or transportation, is $140.

1. Practitioner Two is conducted in REAL TIME in our new web based TalkFusion video and audio technology. Any high-speed Internet connection, from low-end DSL through cable, will work, although you will have the best expereince with the highest speed you can afford. The agendas, MP3 files, visual aids, and information for each class will be posted on the class page to which students will have access. To participate in the class, you will need a computer with a webcam and a headphone with a microphone. Headphones with microphones can be purchased for as low as $19.95 at places such as Radio Shack.

3. Extra expenses: Students will two attend in-person retreats during Practitioner Studies, Year II. The first retreat will be at the Questhaven Retreat Center in San Marcos, CA for graduation and mock panels at Seaside Church in Encinitas, CA June 5-7, 2010. The rooms range from $35-$50 per night per person. The retreat fee, which includes all meals but not hoursing or transportation, is $140. .

The second retreat is for licensing panels and will part of the United Centers for Spiritual Living Asilomar conference in Pacific Grove, CA on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.. Students are encouraged to attend the conference for the whole week but are not required to do so. In some cases, students who cannot attend Asilomar and can arrange for panels elsewhere can request exemption from Asilomar.

4. After you are registered, you will receive access to the elctronic workbook, the same one that is used in classes in Religious Science Churches. (To keep from having to raise tuition, the workbooks will be delivered electronically.)

How Practitioner Studies Years Ones and Two are conducted:

Important:

As of August 29, 2011, the TalkFusion audio is not working well enough to begin classes in September with video and audio on TalkFusion. So, until further notice, you will use TalkFusion for the video and call into a conference call number that will be provided to you before class. If you do not have unlimited phone minutes, you can use Skype to call into the conference call for free. Please go to http://www.skype.com to get a free account.

3. After you are registered, you will receive access to electronic versions of the workbook and the visualizations for the class that are used in classes in Religious Science Centers.

All Practitioner students will pay an extra $25 technology fee for the year, included in the Term I tuition.
